Pain following my run

I'm on week 3 of C25k I have been experiencing quite a bit of pain in my legs, knees and ankles the day after my run. I'm currently going through an early Menopause and am over weight has anyone else felt the same and if so what helps or will it just go away?

Get some Epsom salts & have a warm bath. On your rest days do some gentle stretching & do a walk. I also found using a roller on my legs very helpful. On your run day have a warm shower before you run..drink water & do some Dynamic warm ups before going out the door...when it’s time to run go VERY slowly 🐌 as slow as you possibly can! After your run drink water & do some gentle stretches & have an Epsom salt bath again. If necessary take 2 rest days in between your next run.

Some new aches are to be expected when you try a new exercise. On your rest days do lots of walking it helps keep everything moving. You could also take an extra rest day and see if that helps . Good luck 😊😊

I think if the pain is only there the day after the run, you are good and it's ok to continue, as Buddy34 says some aches are expected. If it's more than an ache, it lasts longer or increases, I would check with your GP or similar

I found using Scholl active sport insoles a revelation - just whip out the old insoles and put in the Scholl ones and this should help!!
