I'm Back At Last!

After getting 3/4 way thru C25K, I hit problems …… knee injury, elderly mum needing extra care, moving house, Mum dying, then breaking my arm! The running stopped and I spent the last 6 months grieving and sorting her things, and getting my health back. Last week I joined the Wellness Spa in the village I have moved to. Yesterday I had my gym induction there. This morning my body is a little sore but my get up and go is fully back! I want to get back on the C25K but I'm not sure whether to start from the beginning again or part way through...… thoughts anyone?

Oh my! What a time you've had - sorry to hear of your loss.

I'd start again. Your mojo is clearly back so you should get through it without any trouble but I think it would be good to remind yourself of the discipline and stay injury free. Good luck🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️👍

You've had lots going on and hope you are in a better place. Think it would be best for you to start back at wk1 and ease yourself back into running. Good luck 😊😊

Sorry about your recent setbacks CaspersW, you certainly as they say have been through the mill, however, you must look to the future, I would suggest that your restart C25K at week 1, I wish you all the best for the future.

Hi CaspersW

You've had a rough time of it so well done for wanting to go again. I'd start from the beginning so you don't lose the confidence you have built up. Remember to take it slowly and be proud of every minute you run. Good luck and keep us updated 👍
