I know there's probably newbies on here from last time I was on so hello π it's been a while I got to week 8 on c25k but had a couple of niggly injuries so took a few months off. This week due to work commitments and black ice I wasn't prepared to chance falling over and breaking my neck when I'm back in the game! So this week I've only been out on one run. Although a little peeved I've been working out by doing the 30 day shred by gillian michaels it contains cardiovascular and strength training (which I think I was lacking the strength part of my training plan last year) which caused my injuries, anyway I'm waffling now but my main target for this year is to get back into the parkruns and enjoy being fit again and ive also commited to doing a half marathon in september, is this enough time to get fit upto full speed? I hope so... anyway just thought I'd come back for motivation and to see how your all doing.
Bye for now

Wow, a half marathon! I'd love to do that, there is a local one in September too, but you are not allowed music and I don't think I could cope listening to my own breathing for 13miles :).
I think most of the marathons don't allow headphones so it's gonna be a bit weird for me too, something else il have to adapt to π challenges eh? I love them! I know half marathon wow thinking I may have bit off more than I can chew but if I get my head down and focus I have a good few months, I'm sure it's possible with a couple of 5ks park runs and a 10k thrown in for good measure. I can do this πππ
