Not been out for a few days as I'm not liking this heat but, to be productive still, I went to my local running shop to get my gait measured and to purchase a proper pair of trainers.
Well, I have flat feet which I already knew, but I didn't realise how much my ankles bent inwards when walking. No wonder my legs and ankles hurt.
Anyway, I need to go back next week after their new stock arrives so I can be fitted up properly and also to look into getting some shoe supports, but in the meantime the guy told me I'm not allowed to run in my current trainers as I will just end up causing injury. He has given me some exercises to do in the meantime though to try and build up a bit of strength and movement.
So once again I'm back to not being able to do it at the moment but I'm still determined that I will!
