Hi Poppp. I get runs like this. But it will improve, often for seemingly no reason. Just keep at it and accept the bad runs. They don’t “mean” anything and won’t stop your progress. In fact, they make you a better runner.
I did have runs like that you get them but trust the program it works no need to do it again just carry on to the next run trust me don’t need to do that I didn’t and I’m on for W7R3 next the thing is you do feel better at the next run every time just trying to help you on your journey 😉🏃🏼♂️
I've just done W6R2, and from what I've found over the last few weeks, it's finishing the runs that feel harder that helps the most, so well done for finishing it! To me, "I did the whole thing" means it can't have been bad, because you did it! Keep up the good work 🙂
If you run when tired, poorly hydrated or when you haven't eaten well in the previous 24 hours then performance and enjoyment will suffer. So if you know that those variables are not optimised then at least you can lower expectations.
Of course there are countless other variables that can impact on your running, so learning to identify all of these is part of the learning process............there is always something to learn.
I had one like this today...I counted down the minutes...so yes, you are not alone. I just did w9r2, it was probably the worst run I have done in terms of breathing, stride, motivation and energy, it's just a bad day, next one will be better, onward and upward
