W3 R3 complete. So the big question is.....

So the big question is - do I move onto week 4 on Monday?

Since I started c25k I have been doing the weeks slightly faster. Wk 1 took me 3.5 weeks to actually be able to run all 8x60 seconds. Wk 2 took me 2 weeks today until I could run all 6 x 90 seconds but wk 3 I have done in a week.

I was rather impressed with myself as I actually did the whole thing on the first run - I didn't expect to be able to run 3 minutes. I haven't had to stop and walk at any point during any of the three wk 3 runs, apart from where I was supposed to.

So, do I repeat wk 3 because that's what I assumed I would have to do or do I bite the bullet and just go for wk 4 on Monday.

And if I do do Wk4R1 and find that I can't run for time that Laura tells me to what do I do. Do I run as much as I can and then walk and slowly build up that way until I can do as she tells me to or do I go backwards and go back to wk 3.

I am completely amazed. 6 weeks ago I couldn't even finish the first 60 second run (I think I probably managed 30 seconds) and now I'm up to the run for 5 minute point. Yikes - what is this thing that has possessed by body!!

I just did w6r3. If you did w3 reasonably comfortably, I'd say go for it! Good luck!

Thanks Steve. I did find it relatively comfortable. When I did R1 I was desperate for Laura to tell me it was time to stop and kept thinking that my time must be up and that she had forgotten me. Today, whilst I was pleased when she popped up to tell me I had done my 3 minutes that desperation for her voice wasn't there - I was actually quite surprised that my 3 minutes were up.

I think I've just go to go for it haven't I and see how I get on.

I will. I won't know if I can do it unless I try. I didn't think I was ready for wk 3 but I did it.

Confidence - thats what I need!

Agreed. Having completed the program I have realised that the biggest enemy is in your own head! You can do it!

Go and try it. Laura is very good at what she does. She looks after you and wont ask you to do anything she doesn't think you can do. :)

Go for it. Week 3 is done, dusted, out of the way. I am sure you will be fine for week 4 but if not, just repeat that one, you don't need to repeat week 3, you can do that already.

If you completed W3, start w4. You can always repeat w4 if you don't get through it first time. Well done.

Definitely move on!!! You are ready :)

Go for it ! The fact that you are finding the sessions easier means you are getting fitter and if you can complete one you should move on to the next. Good luck and well done so far !
