About to do this run this morning, feeling very nervous, anyone got any tips, as I think I may well just be moving forward at a snails pace by the end of 20 mins.

I felt just the same with this run, couldn’t imagine how I could do it. With words of encouragmenet form the forum I did it and felt so pleased and you will do. I went extra slowly to make sure I didn’t run out of energy and that really helped. I also did a slightly different route ,which helped me as I wasn’t then quite sure how long I’d be running for. Keep telling yourself you can do it and are doing it whilst you are running. Good luck, you can do it. X

There were 3 posts on Friday morning, all nervous about W5r3 and all saying that they completed it OK.

Start the run very slowly, be deliberate about slowness. Within 10 minutes you’ll be in a natural rhythm and 20 minutes will soon be over.

Good luck!

Slow and steady, keep an eye on your pace and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. At this point this was my best run :)

Nothing wrong with snails! At least not in this context. 😂🐌🐌 I myself prefer to think tortoise 🐢, but each to his own. Relax and you’ll do fine. Let us know how it goes. 👍

You can do it! Felt exactly the same when I did mine Friday. It’s definitely a case of fear is worse than the doing. Take your time, it matters not how slow. Go for it.

Done! Had to slow down a little bit, but was definitely still jogging! Woohoo! Thank you all for the words of encouragement, it helped massively.
