Week 5 Run 3

Hey lovely peeps- just wanted to say I DID IT! Never run before starting this journey, I’m in my mid fifties, and I’ve got this far. I was dreading it, cos it seemed such a leap, but I just wanted to tell anyone who’s worried, take it easy and get into a rhythm. It’s not a monster, it is achievable, and I actually enjoyed it 😀. Yay! Xxx

Well done! Brilliant achievement. You’ll enjoy week 6 too. 🥳

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊

ME TOO 😊 I just did W5R3 and feel so happy! I don’t like evening runs so much but looked at the forcast and thought this evening looked like a good option .... and it was! I had to push to get beyond the 15 minutes but kept going (slowly as). WELL DONE YOU. Rightly proud x

That’s fantastic, well done!😊 How did you find going from run 2 to run 3? I’m due to do run 3 on Wednesday and I’m very apprehensive about it! I found the two 8 minute runs manageable but I’m struggling to imagine myself being able to run any longer!

It really is psychological- I was dreading it too, but it was fine. I took it slowly, cos I just wanted to finish, and I was running through some beautiful woods, so tried to enjoy the scenery instead of counting the minutes ☺️. Good luck! x
