I’ve been following the plan and seeing great results, however, I’ve just seen my next run goes up from running 8minutes straight to 20! Is this right? Feeling really worried as this is a huge increase and I’m just not sure I can do it. Any advice/experiences would be great to here. I really want to complete this!

Hi that was me a couple of weeks ago I got a shock when I seen it jump to 20 minutes I thought to myself I can’t do this but I did I just my time and the coach will tell you when you’ve done 10 mins and I just pushed through it and did it 😊 just take your time slow down if you have to but just keep jogging
Hi, I've literally just done w5r3 this morning - it was hard and definitely a step up but I did it! Trust in the programme, everybody who's come before you has managed it and if they can do it so can you, just take it slow especially at the beginning. You've already run for 16 minutes this week, you just had a pause in the middle, so your fitness is there - it's about getting over the psychological barriers at this point. I remember being very worried about this to. For me I just had faith in the program it had already got me this far. It was a hard run but I didn’t it and it didn’t feel like to much. Not much help sorry. Good luck you’ve got this
I thought exactly the same a month ago, but you will be able to do it. As stated you have already run for 16 minutes. Good luck, plenty of support on here. 😀
DON'T PANIC!
Today you ran for 16 minutes and walked for 5 which equals 21 minutes moving. Next run is 20 minutes moving. Does that feel like less of a step up?
Almost everyone faces this with trepidation and almost everyone manages it.
I was feeling exactly the same as you this time last week..but after people pointing out that my previous run was 8run + 5brisk walk + 8run = total of 21 minutes, I felt much better about it. You really can do this, believe me..I did! Surprised myself so much that I even had a little happy dance at the end 💃😂
I did it this morning, but my app told me that I was only running week 3 so scrapped that and did it on stopwatch.... you can do this just go with it, put some music on and just find your pace and it will happen ... good luck x
Ah, that happened to me too. I’d been listening to Sarah Millican all week, but come run 3 she blipped and started week 3. I switched to Michael Johnson on the settings and he got me back on track. I’m back with Sarah now, but it was a shame she ditched me for the big one!!
Oh so it was just me she dumped ... I actually found it less distracting with that sort of distance not being told how much longer I needed to red faced and sweaty for ....😂😂😂
