Really struggled. It’s the first time I haven’t enjoyed the run today. My legs are fine but trying to get my breathing under control is hard. Any advice or tips?

Great job getting through one you didn’t enjoy. Mentally strong✅

Slow down and don’t panic, relax and breathing should sort itself out.

Thank you 😊 I would have been so angry with myself if I had stopped.

The best advice on here is always to slow down. As slow as you need to in order to complete the run! Good luck! 😁

Slow down and then some more... if you are struggling for breath you are moving too quickly!

Yep, you gotta slow down! It’ll come but you’ve got to be patient otherwise risk being injured or just down hearted.

Im about to start week 4 and.I found that plenty of loud music and ignoring whats going on around helps my breathing. I get panicky if theres other people on the track, I swear it sounds like im preparing for labour with my breathing but it seems to help.me regulate better..well done on pushing through it tho.

I found this one hard especially the second 90 second run for some reason! Good advice to slow down as I find that helps me when I reach a point where I want to stop. Have to face the final run of week three later after work!

I was really disappointed because of the way I felt afterwards even though I finished so I did run 3 tonight and I loved it. I did it on flat ground this time and it was much easier. Just think I was pushing myself too hard running up the hills. Thank you everyone for your advice x
