I tried Sarah Millican today with a bit of Steve Reich on the treadmill at the gym. I’d been using the Laura podcasts up until today. Steve Reich’s music has repeated rhythmic phrases with different instruments and they become almost hypnotic after a while. The tracks also go on for ages so there’s no stopping and starting every 3 or so minutes. It helped me stop thinking about how long the run had to go which was good. Anything to drown out thinking about the lengthening runs is good!!
I put the incline up to 1% gradient (run 1 was 0.5%) as my 3rd run is outside so I’d better prepare myself. My legs are feeling it but it wasn’t toooo bad; I like the way 1.5 minutes seems so much quicker once you’ve done 3 minutes!! Not overly looking forward to Week 4 but then I dreaded Week 3 and it’s not been too bad so far 🤞🤞🤞
