Week 4 done!

The thought of doing 20 minutes non-stop this time next week fills me with dread, but the programme has got me this far, it must be possible, right?

I'm also enjoying meeting the neighbours' dogs - on each run I see a different one, and their owners very kindly stop and call them to heel to let me pass. It sounds weird but having people keeping out of my way makes me feel like a proper runner! It's also good to know I can still get a 'thanks very much' out while running!

Bring on Week 5!

Fab news - well done 👍. And you are a proper runner if the neighbours move their dogs out the way! 🐕 🏃 😆

I did my 20 minutes this morning and it honestly wasn’t bad at all! I truly believe that the idea of it is worse than the run itself. It feels like a milestone but a positive one! You’ll be amazing next week. And the dogs will still be there watching! 😆 🏃‍♀️

Those 20 mins are more for your brain than your legs!! You will be all ready for it - and your brain needs to believe it! 😄

I've looked at the progression of Week 5 and it definitely seems doable - I'm almost excited, just to see how it'll go!

It will go well if you are slow! 😄

Just got in from the dreaded 20mins, all about the slow start. I was feeling it around the 15mins mark, had a terrible pain in my chest just behind my right boob so dismissed it being a heart attack and for the last 5mins tried to focus on getting in a nice bubbly bath. Well done for getting this far, you’ll make!!
