Week 4 done

Finished run 3 today and really enjoyed it.

Been struggling with finding a slower jogging pace that felt comfortable so ended up soaking and needing extra day or two recovery between last sessions but been buzzing getting out and doing it. I just let others get impression I've been out running for miles :)

Had planned to redo the week to try and work on slowing the pace but now can't wait to get stuck into week 5.

Great community here with information and advice - thank you all. Been loving reading others progress and well done to all of you on completing your personal milestones.

Thanks, program has been good so far. Definitely getting me through some barriers even early on. The time and thought put into a lot of posts here have been very motivational and helpful yet I've only scratched the surface.

Yes thanks. Still a lot to read up on but I was quick to find the post on breathing there after I thought I was going to die on one of my runs 😂

That’s great to hear, I found week 4 to be the biggest increase and struggled so it’s good to know others get through it and enjoy it, week five is a great week

Me too! Tho next week I’m traveling so I don’t know how week 5 is going to go.

I just realized week 4 is almost a whole month, and almost at the halfway point :).

Hope not too much traveling so you fit in a run. Did you find a better location to do your usual runs or still doing circles at the flat bit? My runs are flat, defo in no hurry to try a hill yet 🙂

Nope, still running in circles - except for one where I ran circles avoiding different hills.

Well done. I just finished wk4 run 3 and can't decide if to repeat a week or crack on with wk5 🤔.

Thanks. I'm not long back from doing week 5 run 1. I'll do a post on it shortly but despite being a bit sore I'm glad I went ahead with it rather than redoing week 4. Figured that unless I'm unable to complete the runs I should just move along and follow the programme (seems most barriers are mental than physical)
