Week 4 done! Woo!

Each time I went out this week it got easier. I am quite surprised and very pleased with myself that running for 5 minutes is something that I can do now. I’m a bit nervous about the step up to week 5; particularly the running for 20 minutes part! I know many of you good people have done it so I trust Laura will get me through.

Do trust it!

I did my 20 minute run today and I didn't think I'd be able to do it until about 2 minutes from the end :)

It's a great feeling - keep putting in the hard work over the next few runs and you will get there.

Good luck!

I'm at exactly the same stage as you - well done! Well chuffed to make 5 minutes. Will have to repeat the first two runs if week 5 as long weekend next week - hoping 4x week 5 runs before the 20 minute whopper will work in my favour, eep! Good luck! :)

Thanks everyone! This running lark is still very new. I’m still concentrating on landing lightly, trying to keep a steady pace and breathing properly. I’m hoping by run 3 I will be finding it all a bit more natural.

Hello Breezie! Woo you! I've just done R1 of W5 and it got easier (slightly) as the minutes ticked away. If I'm attempting week 5's 20 minutes by R3 so can you. I haven't got the hang of the breathing and am still puffing away like a steam train through my mouth but I haven't stopped yet. Keep posting. SB x

Up and at 'em Breezie , you will do it, the programme is designed to ensure you are ready, I would say its as much as a mental challenge as a physical one. It is do-able, promise :-)

Good luck and well done so far, keep going ! :-) xxx
