I could not believe Jo Whiley when she cut in saying you've done 5 mins. ONLY 5 MINS! It had to be 10! I was doing a different route so couldn't judge time. The next 5 mins were Ok and the 3rd 5 mins actually felt great. But maybe then the last 5 mins were very tough. After successfully running for 15 mins, there was no way I was going to stop and not complete the full 20.
Well done! It’s a huge confidence boost - after doing this run, you know you’ve got what it takes to finish the course - week six was one of my favourites - it’s great having a new challenge with each run - and after that you’re in the home straights all the way to the podium!
Oh my goodness the sense of time really goes out of the window. The last five minutes of most of my later runs lasted for at least 10 I'm sure! But you're getting stronger and more amazing with each run. Well done! Bring on week 6 😁🏃💪
