So o took 28 minutes to do the whole route but had to walk up the hill second lap (of 3) and had to walk last 50metres. But I think that's a reasonable time.
Hubby surprised me by turbo g up at the half way point doing star jumps and joking around making me laugh. I disco ered laughter isn't helpful when pecking your way up a hill! He didn't stay long and left with a parting shot that my run was a brisk walk for him. Smug bleep bleep! π
Overall I'm happy with that effort. Treat g myself to a new fitbit as a reward π

Thank you! To be honest it's a man's. Only one big enough for me! But it keeps me dry and visible as I prefer to run in the mornings vs and it's dark. Wouldn't be without the hat now as it keeps my hair out of my face and makes me less aware of other people if that makes sense? Wasps and ladybird love it too ππ
I always start in a very similar jacket as I always feel the cold when I do the warm up walk bit but I have to tie it round my now reappearing waist after 5 mins as I get too hot. I know exactly what you mean about the insects too I'm always covered lol
Haha. I love the reappearing waist comment. Only someone on this same journey would understand how lovely it is to keep surprising yourself this way and the sense of achievement π
It certainly is ... we were going to repeat the run we did last week but a tad groggy from a friends 50th so going later on shorter run whoooopppps πΎπΎπΎπ₯π₯π₯π€’π€’
Wow ShashHR ...in this heat & sunshine too...you are fabulous...naughty Mr Shash, I should think he did disappear, for his own safety!! Lol...great job ππΌββοΈ
We are both in kinks at your Mr Shash comment. It was warm but looked like rain so sheltered in my waterproof jacket. Didn't occur to me to tie it around my waist. Focussed I call it ππ€£
We went to the Toby on the roundabout at Ainley Top. Its improved but so busy.. naughty though as we weny to sahiba on saturday to celebrate our anniversary. My waistline won't be shrinking at all if I'm not careful. I've noticed that now my exercise levels are up significantly; I'm really hungry...π£
Lol...I knew when you said carvery that it would be there...we drove into the car park & straight out again it was that busy!! Can you imagine if Iβd bumped into you over the roast potatoes??!!! I find myself hungry when Iβve been out too!!! At least we can run our naughtiness off!!! ππΌββοΈ x
Have you thought of trying the park run at shroggs park? I've just registered and will give it a go in the near future. Also I've discovered I didn't do the whole route π³ as it's 3.5 laps and I only did 3. So it wasn't that great a time after all. Let me know if you're thinking of doing it and we could meet up π€
I will do....& It was great...absolutely great!!! Hats off to you...well, I wouldnβt take that one off that youβve got on coz I love it!! Lol...π
Fab hat and I think my runs while on holiday must have helped me. I usually run on the flat but there I had some hilly bits. Maybe next time I will do the whole thing without stopping. You will too it's just a matter of time and perseverance π
