OMG I did it run 3 of week 5
I can't believe I just completed a 20min run without stopping but I just feel I'm going to slow I tracked my progress does this seem to slow
You are doing brilliantly ... 20 mins is fantastic even if it takes you half an hour.
Do NOT worry about your speed that will come in time, as will distance. The only important thing at the moment is that you're building up your stamina.
So ... slowly, slowly, slowly!
Good luck and happy running!
Thank you slowly slowly sounds good to me 😂😂
Unlike some other C25K programmes, this one makes no mention of speed or pace. It is about duration and you just proved that you can run for twenty minutes, so hurrah and well done.
Had you run faster you might not have completed your target....... twenty minutes. Others are faster than you and some others are slower......It is human nature to compare ourselves, but there is no need to. You are running for yourself and the only person to make a comparison with is the pre C25K you.
You are doing great.
Keep running, keep smiling.
Thanks that sounds great and you are right I'm running for myself
Well done, I don't think it matters how slow you are. I'm impressed at 20 mins regardless of how long you took!
Thank you that means alot
Well done! I have that run planned for Saturday 😱. I think any pace is fine - not worrying about that until I've finished the 9 weeks.
The map thingy does make it look like you ran straight through the middle of a lake though!
OMG that's so funny I've just looked at my map as you said that and it does trust me I didn't run through water 😂😂it's was to cold for that
... and after that... not worrying either
No, you're right. I just mean it will be the next challenge for me!
... and it is really good fun!
No... no such thing as too slow... well done you!
Thank you means alot
No one thinks you're slow, and it's a comparison that really is difficult to make against others, as we are all so different.Your pace is your pace and yours alone. In time you will determine your own fast, medium and slow. You're building up stamina presently and the stamina is the thing that will help you go speedier in the future....
You just did 20 Minutes running how fab is that?
I know jancanrun I never would have thought that was possible 6 weeks ago I'm over the moon
woke with a slight dread knowing that it was the 20min run. Determined to do it , kept a steady pace first...
like I was on a roll. I kept up a steady and fairly slow pace. In the end I ran about 22 minutes. Thank...
however unlikely it seems. Have faith in the programme. It really does work! And you'll feel so proud of yourself...
