I did it! Week 5 run 3!

Cannot believe i just did that, it really was a very slow plod but i didn't stop. Thighs were screaming louder that the music at one point but there was a kind of break through at about 12 minutes, suddenly realised i could do it, felt a bit emotional which wasn't good for the concentration!

Can't honestly say i enjoyed it, or was able to take full advantage of running by the sea on such a beautiful day, i was just staring at the ground in front of me willing my feet to keep going!

Feel Brilliant now though!

I have been reading all the posts for the week i am on to get encouragement, it really helps to read about how other people have managed and succeeded. Will be reading the posts about week 6 now in preparation, blimey!

Looking forward to being able to run for 30 minutes and look up and around at the scenery!

  • Well done!! Look at you! By the sea too :) really pleased for you :) As for the emotions, perfectly normal! If you can wait until the end and let it all out it feels great, good for the soul even if its terrifying to everyone around you!! Congrats :)

  • Well done Natalie , it's a great feeling it's marvellous what the body can do , even when you think it can't , I never thought I would run that long without stopping , but did you find you just got into a rhythm & knew you where going to do it after , like . You said ten mins ? Keep up the good work .
