Not going to lie I was feeling nervous as I’ve not been able to do more than one run a week last few weeks.
I’ve done C25k before and I’ve ran two half marathons so I know I’ve got it in me, but I put on so much weight when pregnant and am so unfit.
So went out to run it - I did it but I took 5 x 10 second walk breaks to regain breath throughout. Then I was really annoyed with myself for this. I just feel so slow it’s ridiculous but what I’m comparing myself to isn’t fair!
I did it - it just didn’t feel as good as the first time I did it. I think I have to readjust my expectations - I had a baby 6 months ago and I’m back on it - so chill and enjoy the process again (getting myself told!) 🤣
Thanks for your encouragement though everyone - appreciate it

Well done Miss_slinky! You are making your comeback! Pre baby Miss_slinky sounds like a hard act to follow! Keep going, slow and steady and, as you said, enjoy the process.
Well done you girl. Wish I had made time for exercise after having my son (almost 22 years ago). I wouldn't be struggling so much now. Keep it up. It will be worth it now and in the future! ☺
It’s definitely hard work getting time with a six month old and a partner who leaves at 7am and is back at 10pm most days! But I am determined! I’d buy a treadmill if we didn’t live in a tiny flat with a grouchy neighbour downstairs but I can’t - so just need to keep trucking on...!
Hope you are getting on ok? Well done for starting now!!
