6 o clock in the morning. Wednesday is my working from home day, which normally is the perfect opportunity to go for an early morning run. I checked the forecast last night. Rain all day. But not until later this morning. So all prepared. Wake up. Look out the window. Rain! I've never run in the rain and wearing glasses this seems a nightmare.
But, it can't always be sunny. I can't let a little bit of rain bother me. Can I? No? So I step out in the rain. 5 mins warm up walk. Jo Whiley encouraging me as I go on my soggy way. After a while I forgot it was raining and in fact the rain was cooling me down to make quite an enjoyable run.
This is something I never thought possible a few weeks ago. Training is going well. My weight seems to have stabilised but I feel fitter than ever.
Onwards and upwards.

Well done it was my first run in the rain too can't quite believe how enjoyable it was before starting C25 I hated running and rain- now it is addictive 🌝 ☔️
As Oldfloss says. Anyone can run when it's dry and perfect, it takes something extra to do it when the rain is sheeting down. But you're a C25ker that makes you one of the special ones
