Running in the rain!

EDIT: Since writing this post I have been out running in the rain! It was fine, quite liberating actually. My only issues were glasses (didn’t wear them due to rain) and I had a long sleeved running jacket which made me too hot. I’ll know what to do next time!

I’ve never ran in the rain before. Today is a run day and I need to get it done before I run (haha) the risk of not fitting it in. Should I keep waiting or just risk it?! 🏃‍♀️ Will it be a disappointing wash out or a surprising challenge ... 🤔

It is not too cold today, so you will probably love it.

Another new experience for the scrap book.

Thank you! Am about to go. Last question - can AirPods get wet?!

I am sure they can get wet, but whether they should and whether they will survive is a couple of other questions to which I do not have the answers.

They were fine Ian. I was looking for excuses I think. Not got the most positive head on! The rain wasn’t an issue at all it was actually quite liberating! Thanks for your replies

I love my AirPods -- but I think the "open" part is actually in your ears so I'd be surprised if they got too wet.

Thank you. Yes I think you’re right, they were fine

Go for it ! I now don't bother after getting completely soaked on week 2. You'll get wet but once you are it's quite liberating 😊🏃‍♀️😊

Go for it, I say! I have run in the rain a couple of times now, and as long as it's not really cold, it's fine! Makes you feel very Amazonian. 😀

Go for a splashy run but put air pad somewhere dry?

The AirPods are earphones, the important part is in your ear so they were actually fine! Turns out I liked running in the rain 👍🏻 Thanks for he encouragement

Go for it. It's a new experience. In fact, my fastest times were in the rain because it kept me cool.

It certainly did! Great that isn’t it? Interesting to know you got your fastest times in the rain. Thanks 👍🏻
