Oh my goodness how I have truly loved c25k. I start wk 9 tomorrow. Thank you so much for all your support it had been truly inspirational. I'm already thinking about starting 10k can anyone recommend a good app. I'm not going to start till end of April as I'm going to try and actually do 5k in 30 mins.

Sounds like you have got the bug. 😏

To my knowledge there are no apps for a 5K to 10K program but there are several sets of podcasts available. Our AndyD has kindly hosted some of them on his onedrive account and you can find the details here:

healthunlocked.com/couchto5......

If you join the Bridge to 10K forum, JuJu has also put together a very sensible 6 week program to help new graduates step up to the 10K distance.

Well done you are doing great and I looking forward to your "I have graduated post" some time next week.

A good thing to do is the C25k+ podcasts/app called Stepping Stones which consists of 3 separate podcasts - Stepping Stones, Stamina and Speed. These follow the same kind of theme, with good old Laura, and are designed to help with your leg building to get you on your way to reaching 10k. These podcasts are available from here I understand. Have a look at the stickies in blue text on the right.

Also, there is Bridge to 10k with Sami Murphy which is fab! Week 1 is a bit quiet but it all runs ok from the second week. Great original tracks, and hours and hours of running.

Take care! As ever, slow is best. A gradual increase using the 10% rule is a sensible way to go.

Have fun!

The C25K+ and the Sami Murphy podcasts are included in the link, I gave you above, Kim.

These things are very personal but I never got on with the C25K+ podcasts. Others do love them though and, like misswobble, still do them years after graduating from C25K.

I did Speed and Stamina last week as they cropped up on my play list. Tricky but very good. They get your legs guessing. Slow, fast, faster, slow, slower. Weird but good!
