Hi there, I'm just about to start W3D1 tomorrow and I can't imagine running for 3 minutes 🤤 I'm not a runner by any means so it's a huge deal for me.....please tell me it's not as bad as I'm imagining 😊👍

Well done, most of us don't consider ourselves runners but the fact is you are running so you are a runner. People may argue about what speed you are going but who cares, eventually you will pick up speed and feel more like a 'runner', but by this stage you will be looking back thinking you were a runner all along! Everyone had to start at some point. For the 3 minutes you will do it if you go off slow at the start, it will work. Good luck

Thanks :) I'm not worrying about speed, just getting through it lol.....I will keep it slow and steady

Go for it Mrsh3. The feeling you get when you have finished the run (and you will smash it) is worth all the aches and pains you may have during the run. You will be smiling all day.

It does get better, I promise. Have fun :)

Nor was I when I did this run for the first time. This morning I did my final 30 minutes run of the program, and am now a fully paid up graduate.

Take each run at a time. Trust the program. You have been working your body more in the first two weeks than you realise, with the walking intervals factored in, so you have done the physical preparation. You just need to keep it slow and steady, and believe in yourself - you've got this!!

I have just finished week 3 and I tho I would never managed to run for 3 mins but I did to my surprise. My advice is to run slow, do not think abt it and enjoy it.

Good luck
