So I'm technically on wk 6 run 1 but couldn't understand the reason from going 20min runs back to intervals then up to 25 min run!! So I repeated wk 5 run 3 (20 min run) but pushed an extra min run in π Feels good π Wednesday I will do the same and hopefully push to 22 mins before the big 25 min run Friday π

I think what it's about is building your endurance and confidence - if you add up the time running and walking together, you'll find that it is increasing gradually during Week 6, and so when you get to Run 3 and are doing 25 minutes non-stop it's not as big a shock to the system. It's interesting as well that when Laura introduces the Week 7 run she talks about how you might find the non-stop running a bit relentless at first - I know I have - and that extra lift from following the programme might be what helps carry you through....
