So I'm technically on wk 6 run 1 but couldn't understand the reason from going 20min runs back to intervals then up to 25 min run!! So I repeated wk 5 run 3 (20 min run) but pushed an extra min run in πŸ˜€ Feels good 😜 Wednesday I will do the same and hopefully push to 22 mins before the big 25 min run Friday πŸ˜€

I think what it's about is building your endurance and confidence - if you add up the time running and walking together, you'll find that it is increasing gradually during Week 6, and so when you get to Run 3 and are doing 25 minutes non-stop it's not as big a shock to the system. It's interesting as well that when Laura introduces the Week 7 run she talks about how you might find the non-stop running a bit relentless at first - I know I have - and that extra lift from following the programme might be what helps carry you through....

The programme is carefully designed so you progress. I'd stick with it as laid down. You'll handle it fine if you go steady
