I finally did it, after doing wk 6 r2 about 5 times I completed the 25 min today. I’ve realised that I need to distract myself so listening to a podcast is the secret. I do not feel like a runner at all, but I do feel like a jogger.

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 6, you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER, jogger if you want to be called that, onwards and upwards to week 7.

Ahhh but you are a runner...would you say that Usain Bolt is a runner but Mo Farah isn't because he runs at a slower pace? Running comes in all shapes and sizes, so give yourself permission to celebrate the fact that you are now a runner, a runner who can run for 25 mins non stop, that's no mean feat! I bet it's more than you could do 6 weeks ago 🤩 Have you seen the Japanese slow running video on YouTube? That will show you that slow running is very effective and most definitely counts as running 😃

Yeah it’s all semantics, you’re going in a direction moving you legs quicker than normal, well done, runner 😊

Yay! Very well done!😄
... Try Angelpoppy’s suggestion of looking at Japanese slow running on YouTube if you haven’t already.
- I found it a revelation & it made the longer runs so much more comfy. - You will naturally speed up without realising over time. I use JSR for my warm up at the start of a run and I am a minute per kilometre faster now than I was a month ago, but it’s still just feels slow and gentle. 😄
