Found it harder than last run of wk 6 even though it is the same 25 min run. I think when there is a big step up in distance you have an extra bit of adrenaline but when you then realise you have to do the same again and no more stopping it is a different mental challenge.

Wk 7 Run 1 done and dusted.
Well done on completing the first run of week 7. I agree with you, it is a different type of challenge knowing that all the runs are now without walk breaks. I got tired on the second run of W7 yesterday and will see how I get on tomorrow - after that it's two lovely days rest before I start week 8! Good luck and best wishes for the rest of this week's runs. Graduation is getting that bit closer now.
Having just completed the same run I can absolutely see where you are coming from.
To be honest, the music on week 7 is rubbish and not at all encouraging like previous weeks.
I am far too busy convincing myself to keep going and concentrating on my breathing to worry about the quality of the music! It just washes over me, cannot think of a single song, good or bad from this or any other week. Lol.
It's not the "quality" it's just that in previous weeks I looked forward to hearing the music. Week 7, to me, seems dire. I'm running away from it, not "to" it. For me, the music has been an important part of the sessions.
Well done for keeping going. I did w7r2 yesterday and realised that now every time I start these longer runs with no break I am thinking I'm never going to be able to do it even though I know I have already done it and have even enjoyed it. Its weird, yesterday I thought I might just manage 3 minutes but pushed on and after ten got well into a rhythm and felt fine and even speeded up for the last minute of the 25. The end or should I say the beginning is nearly in sight now. Its great to know there are others out there facing the same mental challenges. I did try one of the longer runs with my own music but I really need the continuity f what I'm familiar with as its such a mental thing. Good luck, soon we will be graduating fingers crossed!
