Fazzical and I are off to take part in the Blindfold Run in London thus morning so will write an update later but just had to tell you all that my dear old mum run her first 30 minutes this week !!!! Ok so it was accidental, she has been having technical difficulties and keeps losing the podcast so moved onto week 9 after only one attempt at week 8 but I just wanted anyone having Sunday morning doubts about their abilities to do this to be encouraged by her progress. Her leg is aching a bit today so she is under strict orders to rest it for a few days. Think it's time we bought her a little running watch and/or iPod - her tech problems arise coz she takes her kindle with her in a shoulder bag at the moment- always makes me think of Irish-John and his kitchen timer😀 Mum would be quite at home with one of those in her pocket 😂
Will my mum be the oldest graduate at 77? Happy Sunday running everyone 😀😀

I never cease to be amazed by my dad, who at the age of 80 took up Kayaking, and at 81 has now started going to the gym to increase his core and upper body strength, and improve his swimming to enable him to kayak better. I think he puts me to shame sometimes. 😀
Wow, well done to her. I use a Phillips Go MP3, very simple to use. I just downloaded all the podcast from the website. She (you) could download music or an audible book (all the range in the US, I read)
Your mum rocks! That's brilliant and sooooo inspiring, especially for "younger" folks who complain " oh I couldn't do this or that because I'm too old".

Brilliant, I can just imagine her setting off with handbag over the shoulder. I'm not sure on the age thing it never seems polite to ask people. I tell you what I'll do a age poll today but I'll do it in stages so we might get some idea. Have a great day today, looking forard to reading your post.

It was fabulous to meet up with you and Fazzical today and how brilliant that we had the weather on our side! Mind you, it tipped down once we got home. A fabulous day all round (and don't forget, there were witnesses to us saying we'd do the 10k next year)😲.
