So pleased I've managed to run the full 28 minutes today in searing heat. Did tried on Saturday but a little girl riding her bike the opposite direction from me keeps swaying her bike my way and me having to come off the track several times I ran only halfway and gave up too many people was sharing such a small track that can only cater for two people to walk side by side. Today I was determined to finish w8r1 and surprisingly I managed it comfortably.

I realised I have not yet look at the time when I've finished all my runs so I don't have a clue how long it has taken to finish each run, I'm not really worrying about it to the extent of actually managing to finish each run.

When I graduate, I shall then start thinking about speed for now I'm happy to just worry about my stamina, I'm pleased I'm able to still managing to stand up after each run. lol

Enjoy the beautiful hot day all. :)

I'm impressed, actually. I've not run for a week because of a cold now cough but I went out for a brisk walk at 8.40 and it was already pretty warm by then. I do like the idea of being able to run in the sun (particularly the shady bits of the route!) tho!

Thanks Polly it was all brute force and sheer madness really. Few of the sunbathers was watching me running and wondered when I'm going to stop probably I was making them feel uncomfortably hot watching me running in the heat. lol

I suffer from rheumatism this type of weather is good for me since the weather warmed up I've been able to run without pain in my legs and finishing each run well.

I'm hoping to run on Thursday so hopefully the weather won't be as hot as today.

Hope you feels better soon.

How refreshing to read that you are not checking the time it takes to run. You're right as it doesn't matter one jot at this stage. Well done to you on all counts especially running today!

Thanks Irishprincess no I have not check the time since I started the c25k. I will though once I graduated. Someone mentioned about running the podcast again, I thought of it too for speed.

I'm keeping with Laura at W9R3 for a month just to discipline myself getting into a routine then I shall let her go bless her and perhaps start the podcast all over again as mentioned.

:)
