So after my W5R2 nightmares with gremlins etc I've not looked back!
I'm not saying the runs have been easy as some have been really hard going but I've managed them all without having to repeat any.
I started this journey on 10th July and repeated runs until I managed to finish them....when I started I honestly struggled to run for a minute without thinking I was going to die (I'm a bit of a drama queen at times π)...Now I can run fairly comfortably for 28 minutes! Who'd have thought it?!!!! I'm still very slow but I don't care....that will improve over time. I can't believe I've only got 3 runs left until I graduate π
Not only that....I've signed myself up for a 10k road race next Easter....that means I've got to keep going! Not that I would even dream about stopping...I LOVE RUNNING π

Fantastic wow imagine signing up for a 10kππ I've just finished my week7run1 and cannot believe that's my second 25 min run & like you I'm slow but I'm being kind to myself and reminding myself I could hardly run 1 min when I started!!! I'm already thinking about what I am going to do after my c25kπ all suggestions gratefully received!! Think il try 5k firstπgood luck ππ.phyllis
Haha I'm nuts! But I reckon I've got a good 6 months to get there π Someone once said to me....you might be running slowly but you're still a darn sight quicker than those sat on their backsides! I'm planning to slowly increase the runs each week (in true Laura style) and mix in some interval training after a bit to work on the pace. Even if I don't speed up I'm not that bothered really....being able to run for any length of time is reward enough for me π
Well said that's what my thoughts are too to try & speed up & do intervals so keep in touch to keep me right! You must be so excited being so close to the end!!! Well done & keep up the good workππ
Well me and my running buddy who started the program at the same time are going to have a spa day as a reward π Well still high five each other at the end of each run as we can't believe we are runners hahaha
Fantastic well done. My ultimate aim is to do a local 10k with a mate next year as that is what inspired me in the first place - watching her and soaking up the atmosphere
