Nearly at the end!

Haven’t ran since Sunday, life’s got in the way. I was pretty tired today, having had around 4 hours sleep Wednesday night, travelled to London and back yesterday, 4 hours sleep again then 7 hours in work this morning.

But I really wanted to get stuck into week 8, and it happened at the gym. Compared to most other people here, I find it quite easy to find my pace at the gym, I was just worried about it feeling really boring. Tbh it ended up not being too bad, and I was happy with my 8km/hour pace.

I ran just over 3.8k, so by the time I finish I should be doing 4k easily, hitting 5k including the warm up and cool down. I’m chuffed with that :)

Also convinced my boyfriend to download the app last week, and finally convinced him to do the first run today too. He said he felt happy with how it went, he’s always said he can’t run for long thanks to his knees, I’m hoping this will make him see it’s not so bad after all :)

Also I’m not really feeling any aches or pains whilst running anymore, which is amazing!

5 runs to go :)

Doing well. So nearly there. Well done despite sleep deprivation. Can you have an early night soon?

Sounds like you've got it under control - I'm retired and I have no idea how I'd fit running in if I was still working - respect! Good luck and keep going!

Well done! I did W8R1 last night in the gym but it wasn’t pretty 😬. Still feel as though I’m dragging my legs through fast setting cement at times and I’m only managing 3.5k at the moment so I really need to up my KM/hour. Good luck for your last 5 runs 👍🏻

Ha I definitely get that when I’m outside and I think I run at a slightly slower pace outside, but there isn’t much difference.

And not at all, take it at a pace you need to, speed will come with practice and you won’t even notice :)

Thanks Sortyourlife 👍🏻😘. I’ve not ventured outdoors yet but that’s my intention however I’ve heard it’s so much more difficult being outdoors 😩
