I hope you don't mind me posting this here but I've just started a new blog. I had one which I started when I was diagnosed with breast cancer but I feel like I'm moving on now so am going to write about how I'm doing this and my hopeful journey towards breast reconstruction. It's all exciting and this C25K stuff has really been the beginning. I appreciate every bit of support and help I can get!
I had no idea Elsie! Good for you that you're getting fit and healthy. It is exciting and challenging but in a good way. Being positive about stuff is always a good way to be I think. Negativity gets very energy sapping doesn't it.
I can't imagine what it's like to have to go through what you've experienced, and are going through now, but I wish you all the very best with your endeavours. We're all helpful on here so you'll always have someone to share the highs and lows with.
Aww thank you for that. I've never been on such a lovely friendly forum. Life has changed irreversibly but I'm moving on and getting my life back. It's all good. Positive is the only way to be!
Very best of luck, Elsie. You've been through one hell of an experience, and to come out at the other end of it fighting and so positive is a massive achievement.
Really hope your fitness journey continues as successfully as it has started with your imminent graduation from the programme. It's still dry January, so I'll toast your future health, fitness and successes with a nice cup of tea ☕️ x
Thanks so much! It's been an experience that's for sure! Well done for doing dry January, that's a flippin great achievement for you to do! I don't drink so never needed it but my brother lasted 3 days!!!! Haha!
You look so happy in your running gear. I love your pink jacket by the way! Keep smiling Elsie and keep running. You know it is doing you good. I think the best way to deal with something tough like you've been through is to take up something you really enjoy and feel you're progressing with it. Well done finding the energy and determination to get into running.
