I've been a bit disappointed recently 'cos while I've been running further I've got stuck at 10K or just over and my speed seems to have slowed right down. And I seem to have started eating junk again. So a couple of weeks ago I hired a lady from the local gym to show me how to do some weights (squats / lunges / deadlift etc), just to change things up a bit.
I have a few events coming up in September. A 5k fun run, a 5k run in memory of a colleague at work, a 10k run and my parkrun group are doing 8 parkrun courses in a day. I'm doing at least 3 maybe 4. If I manage 4 I need to do a victory lap to claim a half marathon!

Wow, cracking progress! I've just started a new cross-training programme involving weights, etc. hoping for improvements like you, thanks for posting as I also feel a bit stuck or going slightly backwards at the moment. I have hope again! X
