I and inspired by you all ..

I am finally on Week 9 of the C25k , I was in deep depression having lost my Mum suddenly . I put on 3 stone rapidly staying up late and eating whatever we I could put my hands on. Then a trip to the doctor showed me I was pre diabetic and going downhill fast so I started 10 weeks and after repeating a few runs am now on the final home stretch . Keep going and have a strong motivator - I’m doing this for Mum as she wouldn’t have wanted to see me like this . I have lost nearly 2 stone and have taken up swimming as well . I hope this can inspire others . Thank you for reading x

You have been through a lot Smilert. Congratulations on your progress. I know how much running can help. At some point soon you may start to think “what next ?”. When you do, you will find suggestions here if you need them. Distance, pace, running with others at Park Runs…lots of opportunities open up. But; graduation first 🙂

my running is steady thanks. I try & run mon, wed & Fri & throw the odd Sunday in when I’m not working. I stick to 5k but different routes or reverse routes. I did get up to 10k which I’ll do once in a blue moon as it kills my knees. Thanks for asking x
