First 5k

I graduated last week and decided to run my first full 5k today! I did it! The end was really hard. In my head there was a constant back and forth argument of: "Have a little rest", "Don't you dare have a little rest!"

But I did it. 40minutes 18seconds. I'll take that. Looking to build up my pace gradually over the coming month to hopefully get around the 35min mark and then possibly...dare I say it...sign up to do a 10k in November. I have well and truly been bitten by the bug!
