When I first started C25K I got overexcited and signed up for a local 5K. I thought that it would be a real motivator for me and anyway it was far far off in the future.
It's tomorrow!!!
I did W7R1 on Tuesday and have been resting my legs since then. I think I'll still listen to the W7R2 podcast but I hope to keep going at the end of it.
I just thought I'd post it to the world

Good Luck today TiredOldMan. My wife and I are running a 3k Charity Event today in the grounds of Osborne House (Queen Victoria's holiday home on the Isle of Wight). We have just completed C25K and both approaching 70, think you might do better than us!
Hope your run went well and that you had lovely sunshine and fabulous views. My hat goes off to you both for completing C25K - you should be proud of yourselves. I started running on the IoW back in Feb & graduated beginning of May. It will always be a special place for me.
Thanks Slinkimalinki, we finished ok but I was shown a clean pair of heels by M in the process. Next step ParkRun, so perhaps we will meet up sometime.
Good luck. I have just finished W7 and did a 5K this morning. It was very hot and everyone took off at a fast pace. Despite knowing slow and steady I was tempted to try and match it, but struggled a bit. It did feel like hard work but I eventually finished and wasn't the last π One over the line. Don't know my time yet but very glad I gave it a go πππ
