I RAN ALL 8 RUNS!!! I even turned the speed up and SPRINTED the last 30 Seconds of run 8!
WHO IS THIS PERSON??
10 days ago I did my first run and couldn't do more than the first 60 seconds and this morning I just ran for 8 minutes and I LOVED IT.
The shin splints are very painful right now but that will pass, and it's totally cancelled out by this awesome 'light' feeling I've got from completing my first run
For anyone who thinks taking 10 days to do the first run is pretty bad, and to the guy on the treadmill next to me who kept looking at me sideways while I was running: you try running with the weight of an average 10 year old on your back then tell me it's easy!
I'm totally and completely proud of myself and I cannot wait to go again on Monday

YES!!! Way to go dialing up the difficulty and with a all sprint finish!! You've done excellent, and your attitude will carry you through the program. Well done, I think this will be one of those memorable runs for you.
Well done. Remembering how good it felt today compared to your first attempt should stand you in good stead for when the steps in the program appear quite daunting.
