Today went a lot better than expected. I managed to do the whole run! The last 2 runs were tough but I made it through!
Focusing on my breathing definitely seems to be helping me! It's amazing how on my very first run I was out of breath after just 30 seconds and now I'm already managing the 90 seconds. I know its early days but it really makes me believe that I will be able to do the 30 minutes by the end of it all!

Well done I done the same run today. I was worried I would find it a lot harder especially after aching and stiffness after my final run of wk 1 on Friday, but I surprised myself.
Keep up the good work. I did today's run on the treadmill but I am doing Tuesday outdoors although the forecast is heavy rain!!!
Well done, both on the run and the positive attitude. I'm doing W2R1 today too, although the weather isn't enticing me out there at the moment. I do have to wait for a delivery before I can go for my run so I'm hoping the weather might improve a bit.
WELL DONE ALL OF YOU! It isn't easy at the beginning knowing how you are doing, but having the right attitude makes such a difference. Self belief and believing that the programme does actually work will help you along the path. Start your runs slow and steady and you'll make it! Once you are hooked then you will find so many positive improvements to your well being! Trust the programme, listen to your body too and you will all be fine! Good luck - and ENJOY!
I did W2R1 yesterday and was surprised that the 90 second runs weren't that hard. I was counting them down though- definitely! I have this mental block about running though. I've always said things like...."I can't run, it hurts" "It's too hard" "It's too jarring" etc.
My husband has been doing the C25K for the past 7 weeks using the zombie motivation so now I'm determined I'm going to do this!
