I was really nervous about this run as it seems a big step up, but I managed it without too much trouble. I never thought a grandmother of four would be able to do this, but I'm really enjoying the challenge.

Good for you. It will not only make you fitter and healthier, but you'll feel much better about yourself too!

There you go! It's a fantastic programme, stick with it and reap the rewards x :-)

I love your name! Congratulations for getting to week 3. Trust your body, you can do it all as long as you take the rest days and keep your pace manageable. Age is no barrier for loads of people on here. I'm 35 but I was overtaken by someone twice my age when I was out this morning! (but he looked like some kind of superhuman pirate, prob never lounged on a couch in his life!)

The sense of achievement is great! It's surely well-earned, and as a Brucie bonus it will help keep you motivated. I started to mark my reaching the dreaded half-century and was (like you) rather amazed that I could do it.
