Well I was elated after doing the famous week 5 r 3.
So on Wednesday I was on week 6 r 1 - looking at it I thought it was a step backward as it was back to walking and running. How wrong I was I really struggled - yes I had a cold but I had this on the Monday with week 5 r 3. I’m normally buzzing after I’ve finished but I just felt tired.
Did anyone else feel the same. I’m now a bit nervous tomorrow for my week 6 r 2 . Do or just keep following the plan?

I think EVERYONE has the same experience, I certainly did, get through the next one which I did today them it's solid runs from there to the finish line.
Absolutely... I knew what you were going to write as soon as I saw the title! Those with more technical knowledge than me will explain why, but W6R1 is a killer!
I don't want to put you off! I did it first time but it's weirdly strenuous! Oh c**p, that's not very encouraging either. I'll never make it as a motivator! I guess I looked at the app and thought that 'cause it's back to broken sections that it would be easier, but it still makes you puff! BUT I did it first time- and so will you! 😸
Don't worry Wantorun2013, W6R1 was my favourite so far - I knew I could do it after the 20mins so felt confident- still went snail 🐌 slow and all was well! 😄
Be confident in the preparation you've had so far: you'll make it, just don't start quick and try to be as steady as you can. Breathe in slowly if you feel a bit tired and slow down. We've all had some difficulty at some stage (for me it was week 7): I've learnt to slow down and never mind if all the other runners are overtaking
Well I did wk 6 r2 this morning and felt so much better. Still didn’t have much left at the end of it but furthest I’ve walked/ran in miles and also a bit quicker. In a strange but nervous way looking forward to finishing week 6
Look forward to it and enjoy! It was one of my best runs and was surprised to struggle a bit more on W7 as it's the same amount of time. But now I'm looking forward to running W8R3 as I've found a steadier pace. So don't be nervous, just don't start too quick
