Week 5 completed !!!!!! It was really tough today and I feel amazing I have never run for that length of time ever & it was tough I managed to keep focused with Laura's steady voice to help me through of course ππππππππ
Week 5 r3: Week 5 completed !!!!!! It was really... - Couch to 5K
Week 5 r3
Brilliant! I did w5r2 earlier and I'm dreading the 'big one!'
Well done x
Really well done.
Well done, Lou! Isn't it a fantastic feeling? Brace yourself for the next run - you'd think that having run for 20 minutes nonstop, going back to intervals would be easy - but it's not! Get through the next two runs, and all your interval runs will be over.
yep, why was wk6 day 2 (10 min runs) so tough. Having done the wk5 20 mins run I was delighted.
This might be a mind over matter situation. The first 10 mins of wk6 day2 were such a struggle, after 2 mins I was close to having to stop and quit, it was so painful.
Big well done !!!!! This is 'the' run that is a breakthrough....just keep steady and look after that body all will be fine!
Well done T ! You're doing great , keep going xxx
Hi Lou well done on completing week 5. Did you like Laura's message at the end? Right from now on its mind over matter. You have run for 20 mins already. Week 6 is pure in your mind you will under stand when you do it. Good luck and once again well done I'm so proud you have got this far only 12 runs to grad girl you can do it J
Thanks Jase I was a bit worried at the end of the run as it was a bit of a struggle, so this morning when I did the first run of week 6 I was pleasantly surprised to be doing 5 - 8 - 5 π thanks for taking the time to send encouragement π
Well done Lou week 6 !!!! 11 runs to graduation whoop whoop. You can do it I have utter faith in you now at this stage. You will love w6 r3 there's a nice ending to it keep it up J
Jase! Thank you so much for your words of encouragement I am doing W6 R3 tomorrow and am a little nervous ! although am looking forward to it at the same time - π¬π¬π¬π¬
Lou you are really doing well. Your getting to the running stage mind over matter soon. Once you hit week 5. So tune into your thinking as well as your running. I've run over 110 miles now and I still feel nervous for the first five minutes. Breathless too. The thing is your doing well and getting out there so although your nervous you are doing the runs. As each week passes I have more and more faith in the new runners and I can usually tell who will make it. Just remember it's the time not the speed or distance, that comes later. Keep it up. Can't wait to see your posting for w5r3 then I'm 100% sure although at the moment I think your smashing those runs. Keep it up and good luck J
