Today I completed week 5 and feeling quite chuffed !
It is correct to say the programme had prepared me physically to do the 20 minute run today. I did complete it ok but I would say it was more of a mental hurdle somehow. Keeping focussed on keeping going was difficult but maybe next time it will feel better. Boosted my confidence though.
Feeling chuffed, well done, congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊
It’s more than 50% mental. If you think you can you’ll be fine, but if you start thinking it’ll be a struggle then you’re doomed. Positive attitude will see you to the end. It’s a tried and tested program and most of us started as doubters! Good luck
