Ok, so I've done my first ever 20 minute run.
It wasn't easy peasy. When Laura came on to tell me I'd just done the first 5 minutes, I said out loud "you're joking!" I thought I'd been going for at least 10 minutes!! lol
But the next 15 minutes got progressively easier.
5 minutes before the end I was loving it completely and felt I was in a stadium running for gold .....
I was disappointed to be honest when Laura said that's it, now walk. Disappointed but completely elated at the same time.
I found counting 1-2-3-4 to myself helped and I really considered my breathing.
Everyone says this, but if I can do this, so can you.
Show me a mountain - I could climb Everest today!
