Week 5 Run 3 - I did it! I did it!

I decided to go for the run in the morning so that I don't overthink during the day and ... I did it! I did go slow but still managed a pace of 7'/k including the warm up and cool down, and when Laura said I had done 10 minutes I was really surprised. Then came 15' and I was wondering what was going on as I was not negotiating with myself for once... and then the final 5 minutes which were actually ok too. It really boosted me that Laura explained that it was all down to the mind rather than the legs, I think it got my ego to make an appearance :)

I am blown away by this training. I can't explain how it works but it works so well for me.

Have a great week end everyone!

It's the end of my sabbatical and so next week I will have to do week 6 after work, and I hope I will manage. We shall see!

Well done you, 20 minutes non stop that's really amazing and just shows you with the correct plan and your effort, you can do it 😊

I hope so! I saw you do yoga too - I do sort of on and off - I should get back to that too. But maybe one thing at a time till I’m an established runner!

Enjoy that feeling. That's your milestone run done and now you're on your way to the longer runs! Good luck! 👍🏻

Beware, 6.1 feels like it should be easy after 5.3 but it will feel tough, but you can do it! 👍🏻😉

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃

Well done! I did this today to and I couldn’t believe it. I was clock watching a bit more than you by the sounds of it, but I managed it. Onwards and upwards x
