Completed first week. So proud.

I feel so proud of myself completed first week this morning. Kept up abdominal exercises everyday. I haven't smoked in a week although I'm only a light smoker. Increased eating fruit and veg a little bit. I'm more aware of what I eat now.

Well done (especially for not smoking)! Are you tracking your calories? I'd very much recommend MyFitnessPal which is a free app and website.

Well done! I'd also recommend myfitnesspal. It's a real eye opener as to what you are eating.

And so you should be! Well done :) I also recommend myfitnesspal. It does make you think about things your putting in your mouth, Im shocked on a regular basis when I actually look at how many calories are in some things! Good luck for week 2

Well done for getting started on the programme. I'm sure you will soon see real benefits from your healthy changes. Good luck.

Well done on your new healthy lifestyle. Enjoy the programme. Best wishes.

Congrats on stopping smoking and on starting the C25K. There will be times when you feel like giving up or skipping a day, but if you do, come on here and we will all support and encourage you.

Keep going and keep us up to date. We are interested.

Well done! Re the fruit and veg - it took me a while, but I finally 'embraced the leaf' as part of my general diet and I must say I feel better for it. I'm no vegetarian, but like you, I'm much more aware of the need for balance.

Now here's the thing, don't be tempted to believe that you're not ready for week 2 - you are! Come on, you can do it!

Congratulations - week one completed and you should be proud! At week 5 I have learnt each week is possible even though I get nervous but excited too. The gradual challenge each week is so well structured. Let us know how you are getting on - good luck for week 2 - no bother to you!
