Pain without cramping
I take
Buscopan
, I've no cramping but the pain is no better. Often I take chamomile tea and it helps more than
buscopan
, what gives?

Buscopan works for me
I find
buscopan
works when I’m having a flare up. I too get the constant need to poop accompanied chronic wind.( not the best combo) I do relate with being scared to go far! I have diverticular disease. I’ve also been told I have IBS.
Buscopan
is my go too so give it a try.

worried pelvic pain
Was going to take
buscopan
in case some sort of IBS bloating, or it could be the cyst acting up... Worried. Had dull pain all the time but this is a lot more. Very sore.

Had mri but no buscopan as originally planned
They asked if I’d had lunch and I’d said no and they thought since I hadn’t ate much, they’d try without the cannula and
buscopan
and if the images weren’t clear enough then they’d try the cannula again, but luckily I went back in and it was fine and at the end she said the images were really clear.

My Doc has advised me to take
buscopan
for exces wind. I thought it can cause constipation it has in the past, I am very prone to that problem. She insists it was not the meds a.d I should give it another try. Has anyone else had this problem with it?.

is an MRI only looking for DIE?
The scan department said I’ll be having a cannula with
buscopan
so they can look at my bowel and that they might use the dye.

Flare Help
I am taking alflorax and kefir and at the moment trying silicol gel,
buscopan
does help a little. I am also trying amitriptyline, although that is supposed to be for nerve pain!

IBS-D Flare Up
I have taken Imodium, Mebeverine, Dr Gut,
Buscopan
to no avail. Abdomen is still bloated and aches. Any suggestions? Also does anyone have suggestions of a good tested probiotic, as the last few I’ve used I’ve felt made it worse. thank you Rob

Buscopan
Buscopan
has been mentioned a few times on here. I did not reply as my experience has not been good. Anything more than one tablet now and again, causes strange constipation, cramping in the upper part of my stomach and bowels (instead of pain and cramping in the lower bowel).
