Extreme weather & extreme disappointment

It’s -24 and another week of no running. Sadly my hubby & I both tested positive for Covid & we are unable to return home as planned…

However we can still walk & exercise gently indoors, play games with the family & be grateful for the warmth of a fire. We can dream of negative tests in the days to come & be grateful we escaped hospital as we are fully vaccinated. We can look forward to running again albeit slowly & gently in the UK in due course.

Those snowy gremlins are beginning to melt!!

Best wishes and hope you are both OK. You will be back to running before you know it. Get well and negative soon.

That’s a shame but looking out at that snow while you heal is a bonus. Be well soon

Sorry to hear that, hope you’re soon on the mend. 5of our close family tested positive so we were unable to see them over Christmas but luckily their symptoms were only like a cold. Happy new year x

The snow looks beautiful but probably not much fun to run in. I hope you both recover soon.

Snap. I tested positive yesterday. Fortunately though, the treadmill I have treated myself to also arrived yesterday. Perfect timing !....and as I don't feel unwell I tested it out this morning.
