Just about to go out this morning about 10.30 and it went kind of dark then it started snowing just a bit and it was windy so it was blowing into my face under my baseball cap. It was freezing on the brisk warm up walk but as always , 10 minutes into running I warmed up nicely.
Got to the last 10 minutes and the sun came out.
It's strange what running does to us, out in all weathers and we still feel great at the end. Happy running people πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ

Good run for you today Buddy34, once the run started you warmed up, I was at Stirling this morning, plenty of places there that you can run, especially up the Forth Walkway, I was thinking of running a 10K, but I'll only do that once I rerun the Juju Magic10 which starts this week.
Buddy & Al, if the βοΈ sticks in π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ, any chance you can get your shovels and head to the west coast? Mrs D and I are off up to Largs in March so Iβll need a path clearing for when I run up to Nardiniβs ππ€£!! Seriously though, keep warm and safe guys ππ΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ ΏπββοΈ....also youβve got a good excuse for a π₯ to keep the cold at bay! Iβm on Dry January so will be celebrating Burns Night late this Saturday!
The long range weather forecast is for mild and rainy days like we have been having, not severe cold and snow, however, next week we could have a more settled cold spell, probably won't last too long.
Think of the end of February and the first few days of March 2018, the beast from the east, I was glad at that time that I decided to start C25K in April 2018, if it had been two months before, I could not have ran at all, practically every parkrun was cancelled due to all the snow, except Perth in Scotland, there is a video of that parkrun taken that day on YouTube.
That sounds a very happy run indeed. Isnβt it great what it does to us. I went for a run this morning and managed to dodge (through luck not judgement) some pesky hail showers.
Well done, I see these winter bursts coming up the great glen towards us every 20mins or so and am grateful I ran yesterday. Now where will be protected tomorrow? Happy running
I started C25K towards the end of the summer so have yet to experience the challenge of running in the heat. Most of my runs have been in the cold, wet and dark so I am looking forward to some nicer weather.
Sunday I am doing a trail run with some of the girls from running club who are marathon training which I am looking forward to as it is on the morning and then we are going to do lunch together at the end
Snow, i would be so excited to see snow, all we have had here in the south is rain rain and more rain, does sound good once you get over the cold though
Even a few flakes in the air would be more than weβve seen this winter
We are getting better thanks, but itβs flipping slow going, ive started coughing again but i think thatβs my lungs self cleaning as iβm not at all breathless or wheezy , Willow is still a bit wheezy and neither of us has any energy
Going out in crazy weather is one of the best bits, sometimes but not always while you're doing it, but always when you're back home and warming up! Certainly makes you feel alive ππββοΈ
I have to confess, as much as the heat during the summer made things tougher, I am looking forward to it being both warmer, and lighter in the evenings again.
