The nice thing about a Sunday afternoon walk is you can stop and take photos, look at the flowers and trees
So an old favourite of mine up through the woods and we were at the top before we knew it our legs way stronger than before we started running
We stood and gazed across the field to the deep blue sea then ran down through the woods on the other side, zig zagging to avoid trees and roots and purposefully not going fast as once we speed up on the downhill we find we haven’t got very good breaks, we jogged gently across the bottom of the field through the last bit of woods and back to the car. It was fun it was exercise and the whole thing took about twenty minutes
Back to work tomorrow, stay safe and be strong everyone

Looks absolutely lovely 😀. Well done you two. I've just come back from a 5k walk. Got a few foot niggles but the shin splints feel better. If it's not one thing it's another!
Yes walking is just easy and we walk a lot faster and run around in between and now we have our favourite running place and our favourite walking place
More lovely photos from you W&S, glad you enjoyed your walk today.
This Sunday after yesterday's 5k run I went a 7K walk after breakfast, in the afternoon I went a short bike ride, when I came back I took my neighbours dog a walk, I am now suntaning in my garden, glad that I have a garden as people with no garden cannot sun tan in a park during this lockdown.
Sainsburys probably would have been mobbed with people outside queuing around the block two metres apart with trollies so it's just as well you went a walk instead, ha ha, any chance of sending up to Scotland your homemade butterscotch and chocolate 🎂 cake, no, but you enjoy it.
Inspirational photos there. Improvement in fitness is such a great feeling. I think you both earned that cake. Lockdown may be trying but mother nature encouraging in the best way she can. More power and health in your stride to all runners🏃
