Week 2 of the 10k plan: 3k (UNDER 21 minutes!!)

Hi everyone;

Today was my 3k of the B210K plan, and after a few wines last night with a friend I was surprisingly fresh.

I had my first massage this morning, and it was incredible. My whole body feels like a new woman! Had a healthy lunch of a falafel salad wrap and headed to the gym (maybe a bit too soon after eating!)

I decided to try and up my speed to get under 21 mins which is still a snail pace but a slightly quicker snail. Had to do a manic sprit at the end but I did it!!!!

Only 5k left now then onto the 7k... (!!!)

Kudos on so many levels. Running such a good time, running it on a treadmill and running after lunch. Whoa Becky! I’m in awe! 👏👏👏

I’ve never had a massage either. Maybe that’s the secret! So glad you had a great day. 😀😀

Thanks Cheeky! Straight after lunch in hindsight wasn’t my most intelligent move - but I knew if I went home and tried to get back out the gremlins would win!

Honestly the massage was fairly life changing, I feel like a brand new woman!!!

I mentionned i like running and work a desk job, and she focussed on my calves and upper back so they now feel incredible!

Does it tickle? I know, I know, daft question, but I’m uber ticklish!! 😅😅

Omg me too! I told her this and she used a harder pressure so it didn’t tickle too much, although when she went near my neck I cackled loudly 😂😂😂😂😂

Well done Becky , you are on a roll now. Keep those snails with you for the long runs and you’ll do great.

I had a massage this week too and although it was meant to be a relaxing one, she found all sorts of knots to massage away and it became quite firm. It worked though, felt great afterwards. 😄

🏃‍♀️👏👏🍷

Thanks Dexy! Hoping that when I get to 7k the distance becomes easier, and speed less important as I love being a snail!! :)

Oh that sounds lovely - this was my first ever one but i think it would be such a treat after long runs!
