Felt a bit low this morning, so decided to glam myself up and go shopping. Ended up just buying groceries, instead of clothes but it was a positive experience, plus I got a compliment from a very lovely taxi driver who said I didn't look 40. What more could a girl ask for

Hi Tara, do I remember you saying you knitted blankets for charity? If so, do you think I could do that here in Scotland as I fancy taking up (simple) knitting again.....if it wasn't you, just ignore me!!!

Hi jpars, yep it was me. We have a local knitting group we meet to knit and chat, we started knitting squares and then make them into blankets. I also do scarves as well, some friends donated the wool but I do buy some as well. Then we give them to a church who send them to various charities that need them. it is very relaxing.
